Serial cheater booted from AppleTree Half Marathon questioned again
It appears a serial cheater who was disqualified from this year’s AppleTree Half Marathon in Vancouver is under suspicion again.
Emily Clark’s latest suspicious result came at Sunday’s Chicago Marathon, a race she recently admitted to course-cutting in 2013.
Clark, a 28-year-old Portland resident, crossed the Chicago Marathon finish line in 3 hours, 59 minutes, 8 seconds.
Vancouver dental office owner fined $5,000 in death of 4-year-old
Washington’s Dental Quality Assurance Commission has fined an owner of Must Love Kids Pediatric Dentistry in Vancouver in connection with the death of a 4-year-old Vancouver boy after a dental procedure in March 2017.
Mykel Wayne Peterson died after receiving general anesthesia for dental treatment. In June 2017, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office announced the boy had died of multiple drug intoxication from anesthesia.
Police: Man killed in Vancouver crash was riding electric scooter against green light
Police said Wednesday that the man who was killed after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in east Vancouver was riding an electric scooter and did not have the right of way.
Witnesses said the man was riding south in a crosswalk on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard, at Northeast Chkalov Drive, when he was struck, according to a Vancouver Police Department news release.
