A plane crashed into a fence after landing Thursday afternoon at Grove Field Airport in Camas.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded at 1:06 p.m. to the airport, 632 N.E. 267th Ave, according to a news release. The 1973 Cessna 182P, a fixed-wing single-engine aircraft, came to rest in an open field after hitting the fence.
Four people inside the plane were uninjured, the sheriff’s office said. The plane is registered to James D. Groce of Portland.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident. Deputies did not immediately release additional information.
