Schedule for paving in Vancouver set for week

Ongoing paving projects around Vancouver may be affected by rain in today’s forecast, according to a media release from the Department of Public Works.

The current schedule includes the following projects:

• East 18th Street, from Brandt to Stapleton roads. Paving is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday. The street will be closed during paving.

• Northeast Minnehaha Street, between Vancouver city limits (approximately 27th Street) and St. James Road. Overnight microsurfacing work is scheduled through 6 a.m. today. Individual lanes will close.

• East Mill Plain Boulevard, from Fort Vancouver Way to Grand Boulevard. Overnight microsurfacing work is scheduled through 6 a.m. today. Drivers should be prepared for street closures.

• Northeast Auto Mall Drive, from Fourth Plain Boulevard to Northeast Vancouver Plaza Drive. Overnight microsurfacing work is scheduled from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday. The road will close.

• Northeast Burton Road, from Fourth Plain Boulevard to Burton Road. Overnight microsurfacing work is scheduled from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday. The road will close.

• Northeast Vancouver Plaza Drive, from Northeast Auto Mall Drive to Thurston Way. Overnight microsurfacing work is scheduled from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. The road will mostly close, with lane closures at Thurston Way.

• Northeast 92nd Avenue, from East Mill Plain Boulevard to Northeast 12th Way. Microsurfacing is scheduled from 7 a.m. to as late as 8 p.m. Sunday. There is the potential for road closures.

• Northeast 39th Street, from Northeast 122nd Avenue to Northeast 137th Avenue. Microsurfacing is scheduled from 7 a.m. to as late as 8 p.m. Monday. There is the potential for road closures.
