Scanner: Duplex fire at Fourth Plain Village quickly extinguished

Firefighters are at the scene of a duplex fire in Vancouver’s Fourth Plain Village neighborhood.

Multiple fire engines were dispatched at 11:07 a.m. to the 3700 block of Rossiter Place for a report of a residential fire.

A caller told emergency dispatchers that flames were coming from the back of a two-story duplex, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. The initial crew to arrive quickly doused the flames and reported the fire was extinguished about five minutes after responding.
