Newcomers Club raises $2,700 for Free Clinic

The Clark County Newcomers Club raised $2,700 for the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.

The club consists of more than 400 members, spread throughout Clark County, who have either moved to the county recently or have resided in the area for several years. According to a press release, the club spent the last year raising the money for the clinic, which provides free health care to children and adults who aren’t able to obtain it.

“We are so thankful for the community support we receive from organizations like the Clark County Newcomers Club,” says Pam Knepper, Free Clinic Development Manager. “Without their assistance, we couldn’t offer the services we do for those who are most vulnerable in our community. Their generosity is greatly appreciated.”

Visit freeclinics.org for more information on the clinic, and www.clarkcountynewcomers.com for more information on the club.
