The Community Foundation for Southwest Washington hosted more than 75 nonprofit representatives at a launch party recently for the upcoming sixth annual Give More 24! The 24-hour giving spree raised a record $1.35 million in 2018 for Southwest Washington nonprofit groups thanks to 3,697 donors. Overall, the giving day has raised more than $4.5 million for local organizations.
Local nonprofit groups can find more information about the event and how to participate this year by visiting www.givemore24.org. The deadline to sign up is June 28, and this year’s event will take place Sept. 19. In 2018, 155 organizations participated.
