In May 2024, Oregon Health & Science University and Legacy Health systems signed a binding, definitive agreement to merge into OHSU Health. The merger would make the new combined health system the largest employer in the Portland metro area. The Columbian’s health reporter, Chrissy Booker, is hoping to hear from Clark County residents about their concerns, if any, regarding the merger.
