Motor home catches fire in Vancouver

Firefighters are at the scene of a motor home fully engulfed in flames in Vancouver’s West Minnehaha neighborhood.

Vancouver Fire Department crews were dispatched at 10:26 a.m. to 4312 N.E. 12th Ave., for a report of a residential fire.

The first arriving crew reported that fire was consuming a motor home, parked about 10 feet from a garage. The property has debris and trash in its yard, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

All occupants were out of the motor home, and no one was inside the garage, according to radio traffic.

Firefighters told dispatchers there was no need for Clark Public Utilities to respond.
