Clark County Public Health confirmed one new death due to COVID-19 and 13 new cases Thursday afternoon.
The newest death was a man in his 80s with undetermined underlying health conditions, according to Public Health.
For the week ending July 25, Clark County has a 3.08 percent positivity rate, with 141 diagnosed cases from 4,574 tests. That’s down from 3.94 percent positivity for the week ending July 18 and 4.4 percent the week ending July 11. Testing in Clark County dropped 33.2 percent for the week of July 19-25.
Clark County also subtracted 12 confirmed cases due to duplications or cases living in other counties. Clark County has 1,992 confirmed cases and 41 deaths since the first cases and deaths were reported in early March.
Thursday’s 13 confirmed cases are the lowest daily count reported since July 29.
Clark County has 13 people hospitalized for the virus, according to Public Health. Another four people are awaiting test results in the hospital.
Washington has confirmed 60,084 COVID-19 cases, and 1,624 deaths, according to the state Department of Health.
