A woman is in the hospital after an early morning two-car, DUII crash on the Interstate 5 Bridge involving a C-Tran bus.
At about 9 p.m., 24-year-old Irma C. Savoy, from Arlington, Texas, was driving southbound on Interstate 5 at a high rate of speed, according to a news release from the Washington State Patrol.
The car lost control and spun sideways, striking the rear of a C-Tran bus, according to the news release.
Savoy was sent to the hospital and is suspected of driving while intoxicated, the news release stated. One passenger on the bus may have been injured, according to the news release.
