Ridgefield plans virtual Fourth activities

Ridgefield will hold a series of virtual Fourth of July events that will encourage participants to complete activities remotely.

The free virtual event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday will include opportunities to participate in a remote fun run, pancake feed, parades, a patriotic home competition, fireworks show and barbecue. The 10 p.m. fireworks show will be televised live on FOX 12.
