Five people arrested during protests in Portland over the death of George Floyd are from Vancouver.
That’s according to information provided by the Multnomah County, Ore., Sheriff’s Office. A list of 71 names and their associated charges and places of residence include the arrests made by police as of Tuesday.
The Vancouver residents arrested are an 18-year-old, three 19-year-olds and a 23-year-old, according to the sheriff’s office.
Their charges range from interfering with a police officer to theft, burglary and rioting.
There were 23 people from Portland on the list. Thirty-five people were designated as “no booking record.”
Seven people show no address listed. A public information officer with the sheriff’s office said those individuals were cited in lieu of being arrested and were not booked into jail.
Others arrested included a 30-year-old from Richmond, Calif., a 23-year-old from Gresham, Ore., and a 24-year-old from Beaverton, Ore.
