The state Department of Commerce on Thursday unveiled a list of hundreds of drive-in, public Wi-Fi hot spots, including several in Clark County.
The website, driveinwifi.wa.gov, highlights public internet access points across the state installed by public utility districts, the Washington State University extension program and public libraries. The Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries system has made Wi-Fi access available at its locations, including the downtown location and Vancouver Mall.
An estimated 21 million Americans lack high-speed broadband internet access, according to the Federal Communications Commission.
