WASHOUGAL — The 2020 NW Natural Parade of Homes has been canceled due to the statewide stay-at-home order during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Building Industry Association of Clark County announced Friday.
The annual event showcases a series of new luxury homes from multiple developers at a specific neighborhood development site in Clark County. The parade homes are typically pre-sold and built to the buyer’s specifications, and they become part of the parade tour for two weeks before the buyers move in.
The 2020 show was going to run from Sept. 4 to Sept. 20 at the Magnolia Heights development in Washougal. The stay-at-home order is currently scheduled to run through May 4, but it includes a ban on all nonessential construction, which will make it impossible to complete the houses in time for the show, according to the Building Industry Association of Clark County.
