Clark County reports 3 new COVID-19 deaths, 31 new cases

Clark County Public Health confirmed three new COVID-19 deaths on Monday morning, bringing the total in the county to 11. Of the 11 people who have died of the disease, 9 are men.

A person in their 40s was among the three new deaths. That’s the youngest reported death of COVID-19 in Clark County. Every other death has been to people 60 and older.

Public Health also reported 31 new cases of the disease for a total of 168. More than 1,600 people in Clark County have been tested.

Public Health is not releasing numbers of cases or deaths on Saturdays or Sundays.

As of April 4, the state had a total of 7,984 cases and 338 deaths, with more than 85,000 tests performed. The majority of cases and deaths have been in the Seattle area.
