Snow, icy conditions prompt school delays in Clark County

Freezing temperatures and a scattering of snow has led to slippery conditions on some Clark County roadways, prompting delayed openings at districts at higher elevations.

The National Weather Service is forecasting areas of frost and a slight chance of rain and snow showers before 10 a.m., with the snow level at 400 feet. The rest of Monday should be partly sunny, with a high near 43. Patchy frost is expected again tonight, with a low around 29.
