Shorty’s Garden Center in Ridgefield is closing at the beginning of 2020 after the owner sold the property. The location was open for more than 30 years.
The nursery’s main location at 10006 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver will remain open, and the company hopes to open another location in Vancouver, , according to a news release.
“Rest assured that Shorty’s Garden Center as a whole is not going anywhere,” the news release stated.
The Ridgefield Shorty’s closure was partly due to its location and facility challenges, according to the news release. “This has been a struggling location for us for a number of years.”
