A woman was injured Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash in Brush Prairie.
Police, fire and medical crews responded at 10:44 a.m. to Northeast 117th Avenue and Northeast 149th Street. A black 2011 Buick Regal was struck by a white 2012 Mazda MZ3 while turning left from Caples Road onto state Highway 503, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo.
The Mazda, headed north, failed to stop at a traffic light before the crash, according to the memo. It struck the front end of the Buick before fleeing the scene.
The driver of the Buick — Mary C. Davis, 71, of Brush Prairie — was injured and taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, according to WSP. She was not listed on the hospital directory by 4 p.m., said Nicole Olsen, a spokeswoman for the hospital.
WSP identified the driver of the Mazda as Ignat G. Danilin, 27, of Aloha, Ore. He was listed on the Clark County Jail roster Tuesday on suspicion of first-degree assault.
The crash remains under investigation.
