After 17 years of tree plantings, beach and river cleanups, ivy removals and education programs, Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington will close its doors at the end of the year. The shutdown is the result of delayed and reduced funding from multiple funding sources, said Sunrise O’Mahoney, executive director for the alliance.
