Weather Eye: Expect rainy days, cooler temperatures as we enter October

Light rain began to fall around 8 a.m. Monday and continued off and on during the day. Rainfall as of early Monday afternoon was on the light side with a tenth of an inch or so over much of the county. It is the first of several days with measurable rainfall.
