Weather Eye: April showers are likely to be sparse as month winds down

Less than a week to go in April and I’m not seeing that much rain heading our way. There is an upper-level low pressure system that will be sliding down the coast on Friday setting up shop in Northern California for a few days. That doesn’t mean we are out of the woods with showers because there will be a return circulation of air that may be strong enough to provide us with some April showers. They would be scattered and light, so we keep a small chance of showers Friday through the weekend.
