Artists from Clark, Skamania, Pacific, Cowlitz, Lewis, Klickitat and Wahkiakum counties and invited to submit original artwork for the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society show, May 1-31 at the Ridgefield Library, 210 N. Main Ave. The deadline to submit art is April 18. Each artist may submit up to two paintings. The fee is $25 for the first painting and $10 for the second. Art should be watercolor or water media paintings created within the past two years and not previously shown at an Southwest Washington Watercolor Society show. Entries must be on an acid-free surface such as watercolor paper, Yupo, canvas, wood panel or cradle board. Submission photos should depict unframed art. By entering the show, the artist gives Southwest Washington Watercolor Society the right to use printed and electronic images of paintings for promotional purposes.
